GAZIPUR: At least two people were killed and five injured as a passenger bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Suryanarayanpur area of Kapasia upazila of Gazipur district on Sunday afternoon.

Identities of the victims could not be known immediately. But among the deceased, one was a woman.

However, four of the total victims were auto-rickshaw passengers.

Kapasia Thana duty officer assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Dulal Mia told banglanews that two of the accident victims died on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies, he added.
