Bus sinks with 51 passengers, 1 killed

MUNSHIGANNJ: A passenger bus with 51 passengers sank in a marsh beside Dhaka-Mawa highway at Ompara Bot Tola under Srinagar on Friday afternoon.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Srinagar Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He also said body of one unidentified woman was recovered.

Police, fire service officials with the help local people have been conducting the rescue operation.

Six injured people were rescued and sent to hospital so far, he added.
