DHAKA: Four men sentenced to death for killing a class-9 girl after rape in Faridpur three years back.

Dhaka-4 Speedy Trial Tribunal Judge Abdur Rahman passed the order on Tuesday. One other was acquitted as found not guilty.

The death convicts are—Shamim Mondol, Babul Hossain, Jahidul Hasan and Akash Mondol. They were also fined Tk 20,000 each.

On December 13 in 2012, the convicted men raped the girl calling up her from a wedding party. Her body was found on following day. A case was filed on December 15.
