DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina commented that she is ready for any sort of sacrifice to bring positive change for her nation.

‘I do not bow to anyone except the Almighty Allah,’ the PM vowed.

The premier made this assertion while talking at a commemoration program, organized by ruling Awami League (AL) on August 15 National Mourning Day, at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in city on Sunday.

She further said that father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman worked for the development of people.

‘He dreamed to build the nation free from hunger and poverty. Bangabandhu’s dreams must be materialized,’ the PM added.

According to the premier, her incumbent government has been working to reach the goal of a developed nation since their assumption of power.

AL leaders including Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Suranjit Sengupata, Matia Chowdhury, Engineer Mosharraf Hossin and Syed Ashraful Islam, among others, were present at the program.
