DHAKA: Law minister Anisul Huq on Tuesday commented that section 57 of the ICT Act will be amended if it seems logical.

The minister made this comment at his office at the secretariat in city while talking with the journalists.

He further said that his government does not support extra-judicial killing.

Pointing to the alleged extra-judicial killing by elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), the minister said, ‘Not the organization, the accused persons will come to trial’.

However, some incidents of extra-judicial killing reportedly took places in several parts of the country.

Recently, Arzu, Hazaribagh Thana unit president of Bangladesh Chhatra League, was allegedly killed in a gunfight with RAB personnel.
