DHAKA: The seventh session of 10th Jatiya Sangsad will commence on Tuesday afternoon.

Parliament secretariat has already completed all preparations for the session, which will be begun around 5:00 pm.

To fix the duration and business of the seventh session, the business advisory committee will hold a meeting around 4:00 pm on the day with Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

Leader of the parliament and also Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also attend the meeting. President Abdul Hamid summoned the session on Sunday exercising the power bestowed upon him as per the Article 72(1) of the Constitution.

A total of 12 public bills including six new bills have been submitted for the seventh session. The last session which was the budget one ended on July 8.
