DHAKA: Fire, which was broke out in a chemical godown in city’s Tejgaon commercial area on Tuesday afternoon, has come under control.

Fire Service assistant director Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews around 5:45pm.

He said that on information four fire fighting units rushed to the place to douse the flame. Later, one more unit joined the effort.



But no causality was reported regarding the fire incident, he added.

Earlier around 4:30pm, Mohammad Ali of fire service headquarters control room confirmed the matter to banglanews.
