KHULNA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the construction of warships at Khulna Shipyard in Khulna district on Sunday noon.

Earlier in the day, she was present as chief guest at the ceremony of LCT-103 and LCT-105 inclusion in the Navy at Mongla Naval berth in the district.

She also attended the commissioning ceremony of BNS KJ Ali, BNS Sandwip and BNS Hatiya and later visited BNS Titumir.

Around 2:00pm, the Prime Minster inaugurated the construction of warship at Khulna Shipyard.

After the inauguration, the PM upheld several initiatives of her government in building Bangladesh Navy as a world-class three-dimensional force.
