DHAKA: A group of miscreants shot dead a youth in city’s Kadamtali area on Saturday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as Mohammad Sohel (22).

Kadamtali Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Kazi Wajed Ali told banglanews that the youth was shot at head and had injuries of sharp weapon at neck.

Police is investigating the matter, he added.

According to the OC, the body has been taken to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital for autopsy.
