DHAKA: Bangladesh Railway Thana police held a young man with 2,800 pieces of yaba tablets from Kamlapur Railway Station in city on Sunday.

The detainee has been identified as Nikkon Barua (35).

Railway Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Abdul Majid told banglanews that Nikkon was a passenger of Chittagong Mail Express.

On a tip-off, police searched Nikkon’s body and seized 2,800 pieces of yaba tablets, he added.

According to the OC, a regular case has been filed with Kamlapur Thana.
