DHAKA: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said police will arrest Gaibandha-1 constituency MP Manjurul Islam Liton on charge of shooting a boy if the lawmaker does not surrender to law.

The minister came up with the warning while talking to reporters at his secretariat office in city on Thursday after the 14th meeting of Department of Narcotics Control.

On October 2, a nine-year-old schoolboy was shot in legs allegedly by local ruling Awami League (AL) lawmaker Liton in Gopalcharan area in Sundarganj upazila of the district.
