DHAKA: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department recovered four gold bars, weighing 40-vori, at Shah Amanat International Airport on Friday morning.

The gold bars were seized from the procession of a passenger, Touhidul Islam of Satkania upazila in Chittagong. Law enforcers also seized his passport.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation's Director General Pronoy Chakma told banglanews that they searched the passenger of a flight coming from Sharjah of Dubai for his suspicious movement and recovered 40-vori gold from his bag.
