TANGAIL: At least two people were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Bangabandhu Bridge highway at Ashekpur area of the district Friday afternoon.
 
One of the deceased was identified as Osman, 45.
 
Tangail Traffic Police sergeant Asad Mia confirmed the matter to banglanews.
 
One of the deceased’s bodies was taken to a local hospital morgue while the other was handed over to the relatives, he added.

The injured were taken to local hospitals and clinics, he added.

The traffic movement on the highway remained halted for half an hour from 4:30.
