COX’S BAZAR: A youth was killed and 10 others sustained bullet injuries in a ‘gunfight’ between two groups of local terrors at Dakkhin Romalia Chhara area of the Sadar town Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Sheikh Abdullah, 26, son of one Wadud Mia, hailed from the area.

District police superintendent Shyamal Kumar Nath confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Quoting local people, he further said more than 100 rounds of bullet were fired during the gunfight between Raha Bahini and Ramjan Bahini around 8:00pm, leaving Sheikh Abdullah dead on the spot.
