DHAKA: Secretary Committee along with more than fifty secretaries is holding a meeting in Padma Bridge area on Saturday morning.

Though Secretary Committee, generally, sits at secretariat but considering importance of Padma Bridge, the meeting was organized outside the secretariat for the first time.

The meeting started around 10:00am at office building service area-1 of the project area, with cabinet secretary Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan in the chair.

Secretaries reached the Padma Bridge area from Dhaka around 9:00am to attend the meeting.

Overall matters of Padma Bridge Project will be discussed in the meeting, said sources concerned.

At the beginning of the meeting, bridge secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam and Padma Bridge project director Shafikul Islam placed progress and present state of the project, said meeting sources.
