MUNSHIGANJ: Miscreants chopped a condemned top terror of Narayanganj to death at Dhamaran village of Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Dipu Sheikh, 35.

Tongibari Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Quoting local people, he said miscreants attacked Dipu Sheikh while he was taking breakfast at his house in the area around 10:00am.

“They chopped him to death with lethal weapons and fled the spot immediately,” he added.

Police suspects that Dipu was killed by his opponents from Narayanganj.
