GAIBANDHA: Over 100 people, including the bride and groom, fell sick after attending a wedding feast in Sadullapur upazila of Gaibandha district.

They got admitted in several hospitals in Palashbari, Pirganj and also in Rangpur Medical College and Hospital.

Locals said that the invitees attended in a wedding feast of Abul Bashar and Bithi on Monday night (October 19). After the program they fell sick due to food poisoning.

At least, 80 of them got admitted at different hospitals, the sources added.

Sadullapur Upazila health and family planning official Dr Akhtar Alam told banglanews that the people fell due to food poisoning.
