DHAKA: Italian ambassador to Bangladesh Mario Palma on Wednesday said that Bangladesh is a wonderful country and there is no lack of security here.

“This country is secure for people from all religions,” he added.

The Italian ambassador came up with the opinion after visiting the Durga Puja Mandaps at Gulshan-Banani areas in city in the night.

Commerce minister, Tofail Ahmed, who was accompanying him here, said there are some rogue people whom we have to avoid; at the same time, we need to be alert so that no communal force can rise in the country.

They also thanked the puja committee for its splendid organization.
