DHAKA: Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal categorically said there is no organizational existence of international militant group Islamic State (IS).
He made this assertion to the media after a parliamentary standing committee meeting on home affairs ministry on Sunday.
‘I am reiterating that there is no organizational existence of IS in Bangladesh. Our intelligence did not get it yet,’ he added.
‘But the IS, Ansarullah Banglateam and Islami Chharta Shibir are same,’ the home boss opined.
However, parliamentary committee chairman Tipu Munshi said that police has informed the committee that they have identified the killers of two foreign nationals and it will be announced soon.
