DHAKA: A six-year child has fallen into a manhole in city’s Shyampur area on Tuesday afternoon.

On information, fire service personnel rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.

Identities of the victim could not be known immediately.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, fire service control room duty officer Bhajan Kumar Sarkar said that a group of fire fighters are conducting rescue drives but they did not find any sign of the victim yet.

The drives were going on till filing the report.
