DHAKA: Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) will organize several programs on the occasion of International Anti-corruption Day on Wednesday (December 9) with the slogan “Awaken conscience, invincible youth will stop corruption”.

The organization sent a press release in this regard on Tuesday (December 8) saying that the programs will include award giving ceremony for investigative journalism and discussion, anti-corruption cartoon and art competition, cultural program and human chain.

The human chain program will be held in front of TSC at 11:00am on the day with the attendance of TIB executive director Dr Iftekharuzzaman and representatives from Yes Group.

Moreover, TIB organized a cultural program at Rabindra Sarobar in city’s Dhanmondi area on Tuesday. Bappa Mazumder, Sayan and Rathindra Nath Roy sang at the event.

To observe the day the organization has chalked out other programs including rally, information fair, youth rally, street show, documentary presentation and so on.
