CHITTAGONG: One killed and two injured in gas cylinder blast at a Victory Day fair in Gomondi area under Boalkhali upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not known immediately.

Fair celebration committee leader Jahurul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Few hawkers were pumping gas into the balloons and the cylinder exploded at once, leaving the casualties, he added.

The injured people were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
