COX’S BAZAR: A young man was shot to death by miscreants at Kurusakul union of Cox’s Bazar Sadar early hours of Monday.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Afsar, 24, son of late Nurul Amin of Kurusakul union.

Sefayet Ullah, cousin of the deceased, told banglanews that miscreants shot Afsar at his grocery shop at Guchha gram (clustered village) of the aforesaid union around 3:30am.

Sensing the incident, locals rushed him to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Doctor Abdus Salam of the hospital told banglanews that body of Nurul Afsar bore injury mark of bullet.
