DHAKA: Saudi Arabia has declared to withdraw ban on issuing Umrah visas to Bangladeshis.

Royal Embassy of Saudi Arab issued a letter to Religious Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh on Monday.

Anwar Hossain, Public Relations Officer of the ministry, said, “Saudi Arab imposed the ban following allegation of human trafficking though Umrah Visa. And ban was removed after Bangladesh government took legal action against the involved persons and organizations.”

We got the letter yesterday that said Saudi government has taken the decision, he added.
