DHAKA: Shobdo Sainik, one who fights battles with music, Rashidul Hossain of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra breathed his last due to old age complexities at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Medical University (BSMMU) in city early Tuesday.

He was 80.

BSMMU Director (hospital) Brigadier General (retd.) Abdul Majid Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He further said Rashidul Hossain was admitted in the hospital a few days back.

He passed away around 4:00am, he added.
