DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday evening said that her aim is to serve people.

She made this assertion at a meeting with country’s Christian community at her Ganabhaban residence in city.

‘The post of Prime Minister is temporary. My aim is to serve people and I always try to do this,’ she said.

‘We should respect all religions. It will be a way to pay respect to one’s own faith’ the PM added.

According to the premier, whenever she gets opportunity to assume power, she tried to work for the betterment of nation.
