CHITTAGONG: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to arrive in the port city on a five-hour visit Wednesday.

She will attend the Winter Presidential Parade of newly commissioned officers and take salute at Bangladesh Naval Academy in the noon.

The premier is expected to arrive here around 11:00am, said Chittagong deputy commissioner Mesbah Uddin to banglanews.

During the short visit, the Premier will handover the authorities of Chittagong Dry Dock Yard to Bangladesh Navy, he added.

Earlier, the Dry Dock Yard was under the authority of Industries Ministry.

Later, she will leave Chittagong by a helicopter, he added.
