CHITTAGONG: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has arrived in the port city on a five-hour visit Wednesday.

She has attended the Winter Presidential Parade of newly commissioned officers at Bangladesh Naval Academy at noon.

During the short visit, the Premier will handover the authorities of Chittagong Dry Dock Yard to Bangladesh Navy, said Chittagong deputy commissioner Mesbah Uddin to banglanews.

Earlier, the Dry Dock Yard was under the authority of Industries Ministry.

Later, she will leave Chittagong by a helicopter, he added.
