DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police has imposed ban on holding any sorts of gatherings in open place on 31st night as a part of the security measures to ward off untoward incidents.

DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia made the disclosure at a press briefing on Monday at Media center.

He also said, special security measures have been taken for TSC, Banani, Baridhara and Gulshan areas.
