DHAKA: Narcotics Control Department has directed to keep the bars in hotel and club across country closed for 24-hr from 6:00pm 31st December.

DG Khandakar Rakibur Rahman came up with the order in a press briefing at its Tejgaon Office Monday.

Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Police has imposed ban on holding any sorts of gatherings in open place on 31st night as a part of the security measures to ward off untoward incidents.
