DHAKA: A court in Dhaka sent four accused in a case over the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Savar which killed over a 1,000 workers.

Senior Judicial Magistrate M Al-Amin’s court on Wednesday passed the order rejecting their bail petition upon surrender before it.

Earlier in the day, the four accused, Aminul Islam, Abdus Salam, Bidyut Mia and Ataur Rahman, all of them closed friends of Rana Plaza owner Sohel Rana, surrendered before the court and sought bail.

Additional public prosecutor (APP) Anwarul Kabir Babul of Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate Court informed the matters to banglanews.
