DINAJPUR: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) personnel shot a Bangladesh youth to death on Baragram border in Dinajpur district on Thursday early morning.

The deceased has been identified as Nuruzaman (25), a resident of the area.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-32 battalion commander Lieutenant Colonel Korban Ali said that the victim was a smuggler.

BSF shot dead Nuruzaman as he approached to the border, the BGB commander said.
