DHAKA: Another multistory building in the jerrybuilt capital city tilted at Jabbar Housing Society colony at Mirpur on Sunday morning.

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) gave notice to the residents to leave the vulnerable building within the day.

RAJUK sources said the water and electricity connections to the six-story building would be disconnected.

One official of the capital-development agency told banglanews24.com.bd, “The process of demolishing the building would begin within a couple of days.”

A general diary was filed with Darussalam Thana against the owner of the bowing building, one of several thousand in the city marked off as risky. Several others recently slanted while one collapsed in a catastrophic fall.
