PABNA: Police Sunday arrested a regional leader of Jonojuddho, a banned outfit, at Ataikula in the district.

The arrested outlaw was identified as Hakim alias Haku, 45, a regional commander of Purbabanglar Communist Party (ML).

"He was a fugitive from two dozen cases, including 12 killings," police said.

Sirajul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Ataikula thana, said on information, police raided Gayesbari village under the upazila and arrested Hakim.
