CHITTAGONG: Two people were killed and two others injured in a road accident at Chhoto Kamoldah of Mirsarai upazila of the district on Thursday.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Bishnu Kumar Nath, 25, son of Upendu Nath of Purba Mayani village.

Sources said an iron rod-laden lorry crushed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area, leaving two passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and two others injured.

Jorarganj Highway Outpost Sergeant Mehedi Hasan told banglanews that police seized the killer lorry.
