DINJAPUR: Four people were killed as a power tiller plunged into a roadside ditch at Swapnopuri intersection of Nababganj upazila of the district early Monday.

The deceased were identified as Hasan, son of Idris Ali, hailed from Chak Karim village, Rasel, son of Lal Mia, village, Saiful Islam, son of Sadekul Islam from Islampur village and Zakirul Islam.

Sub Inspector of Fulbari Thana Tapan Das told banglanews, “A power tiller driven wood laden trolley plunged into roadside ditch in the area, leaving four people dead on the spot.”

On request, we have handed over the bodies to the relatives without post mortem, he added.
