DHAKA: Ganojagaran Mancha has started to gather at Shahbagh intersection from Monday evening on the eve of appeal verdict of Quader Mollah.

Gonojagoron Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarkar said, “If the verdict fails to reflect the expectations of the nation and therefore, we will pronounce tougher programme.”

Ganojagaran Mancha leaders and activists will stay in the Mancha until pass the order and slogans will be continued, he added.

Earlier in the day, Appellate division will deliver a verdict Tuesday on appeals filed against inadequate sentencing and conviction of war criminal and Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah.

On February 5, (ICT)-2 sentenced Abdul Quader Mollah to life in prison for his involvement in crimes against humanity during liberation war in 1971.
