MOULAVIBAZAR: A man killed his cousin over family dispute in Mitipur village under Rajnagar of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Al-Amin, 23.

Local sources said family members of the two cousins locked into an altercation on Thursday evening.

Following the dispute, victim’s cousin Saiful, Samsul and Aziz attacked him, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Rajnagar Upazila Health Complex and shifted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Friday morning.

Confirming the matter, Rajnagar police station Officer-in-Charge Kamrul Hasan told banglanews, “A case is going to be filed in the incident.”
