PARBATIPUR, DINAZPUR: After 37-day halt, coalmining resumed in Barapukuria from Tuesday night.

Barapukuria Coal Mine general manager (Mining) Habib Uddin Ahamed told banglanews that because of some technical problem and lack of coal store at coal phase-1210, the mining declared stopped.

Later, repairing the machines the coal resumed on Tuesday at around 08:00pm.

On September 10, 2005, the coal mining began by long wall multi slice system. And from May of this year new coal caving system has started in the mining.
