BHOLA: Two motorcyclists were killed a road accident in Hospital Road area under Lalmohan Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Khalil 38, son of Abdul Motaleb and Momin, 28. Both hailed from Tajumaddin upazila of the district.

Locals said that a rashly driven passenger bus rammed a motorcycle in the area at around 7:00 pm, leaving Khalil dead on the spot and Momin injured critically.

The injured was rushed to Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police seized the bus and its helper while bus driver fled the scene.

Agitated mob blocked the highway for three hours protesting this accident.

Lalmohan Thana Officer-in-Charge Golam Mostofa confirmed the matter to banglanews.
