RAJBARI: A fire broke out in Siampur village under Baliakandi Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

Sources said that the fire originated from electric short circuit and spread out to adjacent area.

Meanwhile, six houses, four cowsheds and four kitchens were burnt fully.

Rajbari Fire Station Officer Rajkumar Saha told banglanews, “On information a fire unit rushed to the spot and fire was doused after two hours effort.

The loss of the fire was primarily estimated about Tk10 lakh, he added.
