DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina categorically said that her government was firmly determined to make the country free from hunger and poverty by 2021.

The premier came up with the observation while addressing a programme at Osmani Memorial auditorium in the capital on Monday.

Sheikh Hasina said, “The government is working relentlessly to make the northern part of the country as crop depot.”

She also said that economic zone would be built for small and medium industries in a bid to ensure food safety, strengthening foundation of economy.
