Khaleda’s proposal partisan tell-talk, says Inu

DHAKA: Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has rebuffed the proposal of opposition BNP Khaleda Zia over the poll-time interim government as it is partisan tall-talk.

The information minister made the assertion at a press conference at Press information Department of the secretariat in the city on Tuesday.

Terming Khaleda’s proposal as self-contradictory he said, “The proposal claimed to craft a formula of the ad-hoc government with 10 advisers from two previous caretaker governments by the two political parities instead of all party participation.”

Inu also refuted the proposal as it is a partisan government in the name of non-partisan government.

He, however, said the government considered Khaleda Zia’s proposal as a positive effort as it expected the proposal would pave way for dialogue.
