CHITTAGONG: Two suspected terrorists were killed as an angry mob beat them up at Pahartali under Rawzan Upazila of the district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Suman and Mozammel Haque, known as local BNP cadres.

Local sources said Suman and Mozammel tried to flee the scene around 11:00am after shooting local union parisad member Abdul Khalek. But locals caught them red handed and gave them a good beating, leaving the duo dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, bullet hit Abdul Khalek was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Rawzan Thana Officer-in-Charge Enamul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
