GAZIPUR: At least 15 people were injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a pick-up on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway of the MC Bazar area in Sripur upazila of the district on Thursday night.

Witnesses said that a Mymensingh-bound bus collided head on with a pick-up from the opposite direction. During the time, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw suddenly hit the the pick-up and turned turtle by the roadside ditch.

Some 15 passengers of three vehicles were injured in the incident, witnesses added.

Officer-in-Charge of Mawna Highway Thana Sanoar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
