The government has appointed three Deputy Commissioners (DCs) for Chandpur, Sherpur and Jamalpur districts. 

Besides, Chandpur Deputy Commissioner Anjana Khan was transferred as DC to Netrokona.  

The public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification on Thursday (May 19) in this regard.

Health and Family Welfare Minister’s private secretary (PS) Kamrul Hasan was made DC of Chandpur, Deputy Secretary of Public Administration Ministry was given charge as DC of Sherpur, Cox’s Bazar Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Shrabanti Roy was made DC of Jamalpur
