Customs intelligence on Saturday (June 4) arrested a woman with 1kg gold at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Morsheda Begum, daughter of Sirajuddin of Bauphal under Patuakhali, arrived in Dhaka from Dubai via Chattogram by Flight No BG 148 of Biman Bangladesh.

Customs recovered nine gold bars worth Tk 73,8,000 from her possession.

Masuma Begum, assistant revenue officer of Customs Intelligence & Investigation Circle, C-Shift of Airport filed a case with the Airport Police Station in this connection.
