DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam once again asserted that the invitation by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia still on.  

He came up with the assertion during a meeting at Gano Bhaban on Wednesday morning.

Syed Ashraful said, “The prime minister has invited opposition leader for the sake of the country and we are willing to invite her a 100 times over.”

He directed leaders and activists of the party to work hard for the scheduled November 3 rally of Awami League and said that everyone in the country wanted to gaze at peaceful gathering instead of violence in the name of hartal.
