RAJSHAHI: Police held some 30 activists of BNP-led 18-party alliance from the city while they were on journey to attend ‘March for Democracy’ programme in Dhaka on Saturday.

Witnesses said police held around 30 people from a local mini bus while they were sailed to join the BNP-led 18-party called programme in Dhaka around 1:00pm.

Additional Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police confirmed Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews

He said the detainees were accused for sabotage activities.
