DHAKA:  A fire broke out at passenger bus of Bihanga Paribahan in Sony Cinema Hall area at Mirpur section-1 in the capital on Thursday morning.

The incident took place at 10:00am.

But police and witnesses gave separate description of the fire incident.

Witnesses said miscreants intercepted the bus and set fire after getting down the passengers forcibly.

On information, a fire fighting unit rushed to the spot and is trying to douse the blaze.

But Mirpur model thana officer-in-charge Salauddin Ahmed claimed that the fire originated from explosion of oil tank of the bus.

On the other hand, Fire service control room said the origination of fire could not be cleared till the fire doused.
